Ticket Desk - windows server 2003 problem

i already make a virtual directory under \wwwroot path, and i also configure the access control for web site.

but when i access the application through web browser the page cannot be display and sometimes show an error "HTTP 403 forbidden".

do you have any idea to resolve this problem?

That's a big topic choco, but without knowing a lot about your internal configuration and security settings I'm not sure we can help you much here. The problem is not TicketDesk specific, so troubleshoot it like it were any virtual directory and/or security problem.

Make sure you check your windows event logs to see if it is catching any additional info about the problem.

The easiest way to troubleshoot this kind of issue is just to go step-by-step testing as you go.

First make a virtual directory under wwwroot without changing anything at all. The default setup and security in IIS and the windows file system should already be sufficient for TicketDesk's needs. Create a static default.htm file in the root of this folder. Browse to it and make sure it loads in the browser. Then you can test by dropping in a simple default.aspx file with nothing but some static HTML content in it. See if that works. If so, then move on to copying in TicketDesk to this location.
